Thanks for writing down your thoughts.
Figuring out that food can make you sick is a really important thing almost totally ignored by mainstream medicine.

I wasted my entire youth just sitting in my room being exhausted and depressed for no reason, while doctors told me everything was alright.

With 23 I figured out that I had problems digesting gluten. Without gluten my depression disappeared within a weak. My brain fog disappeared as well. At my worst time I had trouble memorizing 2 digit numbers. :(

But I was still exhausted and eventhough I had more energy i was still behind what I would call "normal people".
It took me a couple of years to find out that carbohydrates caused this problem.

I believe I do have SIBO also. But I am reluctant visiting a doctor again. I do not trust those guys anymore. :(

What I also realise is the fact that eating only a small amount of carbohydrates causes a craving for more carbs. A craving I cannot resist no matter how much I try. The worst are complex carbohydrates. Simple carbs (monosacharides) do not cause such a strong craving, probably because they are already digested at the end of the stomache and do not reach the small bowel where they are being used by the bacteria.
